The Marketing Department is pleased to announce this year's competition. We invite you to join a select group of Business School students, the Goldstein Marketing Scholars – exceptional individuals who are interested in learning all they can about marketing, advertising, and the related industries.
Who's it for?
The Goldstein and Miami Marketing Scholars program is designed for exceptionally strong, full-time undergraduate students at the University of Miami Business School who are interested in learning about the marketing industry. A select group of students will be chosen for an all-expenses-paid, 4-day trip to New York City or Miami, where they will meet with and hear presentations from leading marketing executives and explore internship and employment opportunities with top marketing companies.
The participating firms will include top companies in marketing, advertising, consumer packaged goods, and media, such as: Centric Brands, Citi, Lippincott, Google, RBI, NBCU/Telemundo, Turnberry, and more. Our scholars gain exposure to these companies and their work, as well as initiate professional relationships that may potentially lead to a summer internship and/or full-time employment. All expenses are covered for selected students, including round-trip airfare and lodging, and students will be excused from their regular classes for the days of the trip.
To apply for the program, students must be Marketing majors or minors, be sophomores or juniors in the concurrent academic year, and have an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher. You must be willing to attend mandatory training two weeks and one week before the trip.
